Giving Back
Assistant Supervisor of Elections
January 2020- November 2021
Serve under the Judicial branch of the UF Student Government to ensure that all election and voting bylaws are being adhered to, and that no one is unduly influencing students to vote for them each semester during the election season.
URSP Mentorship
May 2021- Present
Served as a guide and resource to two incoming Freshman to UF that had been accepted into the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program. We meet on a monthly basis to network and for me to be available for any questions they have about the program, campus, research, etc.
Sister Support Ambassador
January 2021- January 2022
Served as a Sister Support Ambassador for the UF Panhellenic COmmunity as well as the Sorority and Fraternity Affairs Office. Received training and certification in a variety of topics including Title IX, suicide prevention, substance abuse signs/symptoms, and how to steer conversations surrounding sensitive, triggering topics. Hosted monthly office hours to assist women in the Panhellenic community as they dealt with a variety of issues such as burnout, assault, interpersonal conflicts, and mental health issues.
Recruitment Group Leader and Membership Selection Committee
Spring 2021-Present
Served as an RGL and member of MSC for Sigma Kappa Beta Tau. I helped to encourage and guide my own group of 15-20 members of the chapter through the recruitment process. I served as their primary source of advice and information. I worked to ensure that all guidelines for recruitment were being adhered to and that the women were both confident and competent in their recruitment efforts. As a member of MSC I was responsible for maintaining confidentiality, communicating clearly, speaking up and sticking to my decisions. I put in additional hours every day during recruitment that normal members did not in order to stay for the confidential meetings.
